Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): Centurion University of Technology and Management, Paralakhemundi, in collaboration with the District Administration, Gajapati, organized a Pledge-Taking Ceremony under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on 13th August 2025 at the New Auditorium. The programme aimed to create awareness among youth and the community about building a drug-free society.
The event was graced by Smt. Madhumita, Collector & District Magistrate, Gajapati, Sri Jatindra Kumar Panda, Superintendent of Police, Sri Pradeep Kumar Sahoo, Superintendent of Excise, Sri Anup Panda, Sub-Collector, Paralakhemundi, Sri L. Santosh Kumar, Social Security Officer, Dr. Durga Prasad Padhi, Director (Admin), Dr. S. P. Nanda, Dean (Admin), and Dr. Ritesh Kumar, Dean – Student Affairs, among others.
The dignitaries addressed the gathering on the harmful effects of substance abuse and motivated everyone to contribute towards an addiction-free future. The pledge was led by the Hon’ble Collector, with all faculties, deans, students, and staff of Centurion University joining in solidarity. Students enthusiastically visited the selfie point to capture moments from the event and generated their QR-based participation certificates.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, refreshments, and an appeal to carry forward the message of Nasha Mukt Bharat.
