Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha, organized a Parents’ Meeting at its Paralakhemundi Campus with the participation of over 135 parents from various schools. The objective of the meeting was to strengthen parent-university interaction and share key developments related to academics, training, and student welfare.
The Vice Chancellor, Dr. Supriya Pattnaik, along with senior university officials including the Registrar Dr. Anita Patra, Director Administration Dr. Durga Prasad Padhi, Directors, Deans, Principals, and Heads of various departments, interacted with the parents and addressed their concerns.
The Registrar presented the university’s progress, new programmes, skill training facilities, and placement achievements. The Vice Chancellor highlighted the importance of meaningful learning, responsible use of technology, and the university’s initiatives to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. Deans and senior administrators elaborated on training, placements, discipline, and student support systems.
Parents appreciated the university’s efforts and shared valuable suggestions, particularly regarding learning record authenticity, communication updates through MIS, and ease of access to faculty members. The university assured timely implementation of corrective measures, including enhanced monitoring and improved communication channels.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks, reaffirming the university’s commitment to continuous improvement and collaborative engagement with parents.
