Paralakhemundi, (Tarini Prasad Panda): Displaying prompt humanitarian concern, Paralakhemundi MLA Rupesh Panigrahi came to the rescue of two persons injured in a road accident near Singipur village under Sitapur Panchayat on Wednesday. The MLA, who was travelling to Khandava village in Kashinagar block to attend an inaugural function, noticed a motorcycle colliding head-on with a car. The motorcyclist and his son sustained serious injuries in the mishap. Rupesh Panigrahi immediately stopped his vehicle, provided primary treatment to the injured, cleaned their wounds with water and arranged an ambulance to shift them to the district headquarters hospital for treatment. Local Sarpanch Tejeswar Rao also assisted in rescue efforts and contacted the 108 ambulance service.
