Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): Following complaints from villagers, Paralakhemundi MLA Rupesh Panigrahi visited Dhansara village under Kharada Panchayat in Kashinagar block of Gajapati district to inspect the damaged main road and adjoining retaining wall.
The issue was brought to his notice by local Sarpanch Akhil Patra and residents. The MLA assured villagers that repair work would be taken up soon and said he would write to the concerned department for immediate action.
Villagers alleged that the damaged road has caused serious inconvenience for students, patients, and daily commuters.
