Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): Thousands of devotees thronged the Sri Jagannath Temple in Paralakhemundi on Wednesday to witness the rare Lakshmi Narayan Besha of Lord Jagannath on the auspicious occasion of Vyasa Purnima.
The temple witnessed a heavy influx of devotees from the early hours as the deities were adorned in the divine Lakshmi Narayan attire after the customary Mangala Alati and other traditional rituals. The special decoration of the Lord attracted devotees from different parts of the district.
Devotees offered lamps, incense and other ritual items and prayed with deep devotion before the Holy Trinity. The temple wore a festive look as hundreds of worshippers queued up throughout the day to have the sacred darshan of the rare divine manifestation.
