Digapahandi:Tensipn prevails in Gadagovindpur village under Digapahandi block following the attack on former sarapanch and representative of Berhampur MP,K.Haribandhu reddy.Recently on the allegations of irregularties in NREGA work in the village and a team from Lokpal inspected the works.After celebrating the holi Haribandhu while was discussing about the inspection of the team in the evening,suddenly more than 8 youths on three motorcycles reached there and without any provocation attacked Haribandhu and fled away.As the persons present nearby ran to the spot,the attackers fled away leaving their motorcycles.With deep cut injuries,Haribandhu admitted to MKCG MCH.Police reached the spot and trying to identify the attackerts from the motor cycles,they left at the spot.
