Nayagarh:In a shocking incident,a college girl gave birth to a baby in the bathroom of the Nayagarh District Headquarters Hospital(DHH)today.The newborn baby was found dead,but her mother is reported to be in stable condition.Sources said the mother a second year Plus 3 student of Nayagarh Autonomous college and was staying in hostel,complained abdominal pain today morning.Soon she was taken to the DHH for treatment.However,she went to the urinal and delivered the baby.The girl reportedly hails from Raikia area of Kandhamal district and was staying in hostel.Authorities of the hostel expressed their ignorance over the pregnancy of the girl,although doctor visits the hostel in regular interval for checkup of the girl inmates.Though no authority available for comment over the matter,but college sources said the parents of the girl has been informed about the incident.
