Berhampur: Wanted antisocial Sathish Kumar Mishra @ Mouja Mishra(39) wanted in 2 murder cases & other cases arrested by Berhampur Police from Jatni today.Mishra was wanted in 2 murder cases and firing, bomb throwing and attempt to murder cases in various police stations of Berhampur said Berhampur SP,Dr Saravana Vivek M.Mishra was initially arrested for murder of Ganesh Suna near Berhampur railway station in 2006,along with another 5 accused persons.He got bail after 6 months and later jumped bail.Again he was arrested in a rioting case in 2006 in Baidhyanadpur PS case no – 135/06.Later in the year 2013 he was arrested in Shati Mishra murder case (Gosaninugaon PS case no – 11/13 )along with 11 other accused persons.He was granted bail in 2016 and since then he was not appearing in the court for trail.In the year 2019 a NBW was issued against him by the sessions court and he was absconding since then.Last month,Shanti Mishra murder case ended in conviction and 11 accused persons were convicted and send to jail.However Mishra was absconding to avoid the court.While he was absconding he was involved in firing case on the former mayor Pintu Das case .Till now 4 NBWs are pending in the above mentioned cases against Mishra.Last week`We received a confidential information on Mishra and based on that,a police team led IIC,Gosaninuagaon,Smruti Prava,was formed to nab Mishra and he was arrested from his hideout in Jatni today`said the SP.The police team camped near his hideout mixing with civilians and living like civilians.Even,police staffs “became” employees of paan shops and vegetable shops to keep a watch on the accused person.After a lot of hardwork Police team finally caught Mishra from a rented house in Jatni area.Mishra forwarded to court in the evening.
