Bhubaneswar:Odisha’s star sprinter Srabani Nanda played a crucial role in securing a silver medal for India in the women’s 4x100m relay at the 26th Asian Athletics Championships 2025, held in Gumi, South Korea.The Indian team clocked an impressive 43.86 seconds to finish second in the high-stakes final.Srabani, along with teammates SS Sneha, Abinaya Rajarajan, and Nithya Gandhe, delivered a powerful performance that brought pride to the nation and to Odisha in particular.Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the team, with a special mention for Srabani.
“This achievement is a proud moment for Odisha and a testament to the athletes’ hard work, perseverance, and passion for sports,” he said.The Chief Minister expressed confidence that this milestone will inspire the next generation of athletes and urged all sportspersons to continue striving for excellence.
