Rayagada:One person killed and another two injured seriously,when a passenger train hit a railway motor trolly on the same track of platform no-5 at Rayagada railay station today morning.Sources said,contract staffs with maintance motor trolly, of railway engineering department were engaged in repairing the track.By the time a passenger train from Vishakhapatanam to Durg reached on the track.Seeing the train,the staffs tried to remove the trolly out of the track,but they failead and the train hit it.As a result of which three contract labourers were injured seriously.Soon railway officials,GRP,RPF personals reached there,but by the time one of them succumbed ot his injuries.The identity of the deceased worker not yet ascertained.However other two identified as Babula saha and Sushant das has been shifted to Rayagada DHH and are under treatment.The mishap took place as,the train and trolly were on the same railway track.On being informed DRM,Amitav singhal with other senior officials rushed to trhe spot.
