Paralakhemundi,(Tarini prasad panda):In Gajapati district at Siali of Kashinagar & at Khajuripada of Nuagada blocks World Tribals Day observed at Gajapati.
Held at Siali of Pedaguda organized jointly by Akhil Bharat Adivashi Manch & Akhil Bharat Kishan Mazdoor Sabha,Kaduka Sabar presided.Convenor Kedar Sabar too graced on dias.They rapped government’s hooliganism on tribals rights.Rather tribals land forfeited where livelihoods at jinx.On the name of development land,water & forest too deprived;where ownership on crux. Though both President of India & Chief Minister of Odisha are from tribal community still they hardly showing interest for own community.One fourth of population of Odisha covered tribal population.Security of land,water & forest with life & livelihoods still a question mark.Among others Junesh Medi, Chaitanya Sabar,Sambra Sabar,Sunka Sabar spoke.
Held at Khajuripada Dr. Giridhar Gomango former Chief Minister, MLA Mohana Dasarathi Gomango & former Administrator Pabitra Mandal with other tribal leaders gathered.They lamented on squeezing rights of tribal community livelihood. Ensure to unite to fight strongly.From surrounding Mohana, RUdayagiri,Nuagada & Rayagada blocks huge tribals attended.
