Paralakhemundi,(Tarini prasd panda): At second oldest Parlakhemundi SKCG(Sri krishna chandra Gajapati Autonomous) College of Odisha teaching staff situation is on dire straits.Though more than 3400 students are studying in 17 UG(under graduate) & 13 PG(post graduate) classes.Out of 47 posts still lying vacant. Moreover from this college 8 teachers have been transferred.Out of 6 teaching staff only 1 staff existing in English department.Newly opened Human Science subject need of 2 teachers & Philosophy 3 teachers vacancy found. Similarly in History & Political Science sufficient staff lacking.With 25 guest faculties teachings served.On non-teaching staff out of 68 posts 29 posted.On oldest library, too,Librarian post still lying vacant.
Problems arising by lacking of teaching staff, said Dr.JNPatnaik Principal.Some alumin eg;Scientist Markandeswar Panda, Dr.Sankar Bakshi, Harimohan Patnaik, Binod Chandra Jena lamented on such grave scene of oldest college study atmosphere completely tarnished, which was once glorious institution of Odisha pulling extraordinary alumin who are in various positions & abroad.
