Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): Harbhangi dam of Gajapati district,one Container has been drowned. Container driver some how survived but yet container not found. As per information Near Odaponka of Harbhangi dam around 12 O’clock midnight that vehicle had given side to a car which was coming on opposite side to pass away, as a result that slipped inside that dam.Fortunately driver Sanjib Yadav survived.That vehicle was going from Rayagada to Cuttack.As per information by driver that he dropped new bikes at Rayagada & was returning from Rayagada.while giving space to a car coming from opposite side,his container slipped & fallen at Harbhangi dam.Fire staff started rescue operation.They are yet to identify that vehicle as water level is above 50 feet depth due to continuous rain.Under Adava police limits such incident happened.Due to lack of caution on milestone such unprecedented situation happening in that dam.So such repeated accidents should be avoided once milestone can be installed, said local people.
