Youths rescues injured deer and provides medical care

Parlakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): It has been reported that members of the Youth Association have rescued an injured deer calf from the Mohana forest in Gajapati district and provided medical care. According to the incident, the deer was coming towards Mohana town at a very fast pace from the forest above the Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir when it was hit by the wire fence of the Saraswati Sishu Temple and was seriously injured and fell to the ground. Prominent members of the Mohana Youth Association Ashish Behera, Lalu Beher Dalai, Umakant Gowda, Shiv Gowda rescued the seriously injured deer calf from there and admitted it to the veterinary hospital.
After the deer was given the necessary treatment at the veterinary hospital, the deer is said to be healthy. Later, after the youth informed the forest department about the incident, forest officials reached at the hospital and kept the deer under their observation. Forest department officials said that the injured deer calf is only one and a half years old.
