Rayagada,Property worth of over Rs 50 lakhs of a mall at rayagada town gutted in a fire mishap today.Fire officer Ramesh behera said,they got the information of fire at around 5 am today and reached soon.By the time the fire engulfed the ground floor and we took around 2 hour with our team and four vehicles to brign the fire under control.He said as per preliminary investigation short circuit in the power supply was the reason of fire.However the exact reason would be known after investigation said Behera adding that the other factors like the mall has fire extinguisher or not under investigation.On the otherhand the locals said the mall brought materials worth of more than one crore for the Makar festival,which now turned into ashes.The mall has also fireball and kept at proper places,which could not worked.
