Soroda:Recovery of a skeleton from the foot hill of Ketamani near Gajalbadi village under Soroda PS limits of Ganjam district,has spreaded a shock wave in the area.Today while a group of villagers while passing through the area found the skeleton,along with half burnt chudidaar,a necklace,a knife and two mobile phones.Soon the information reached police and Aska SDPO,Santosh jena with Soroda IIC,Sudhir kumar sahu with scientific officers reached the spot.Basing on the circumstantial evidences,police suspect the skleton is of a minor girl and the body was put on flames after murder.Police seixed the half burnt skeleton and articles and sent for DNA examination.The police also alerted near by police stations to know any missing case registered with them.Tikabali responded the quarry by Soroda police and informed that missing of a minor girl was reported with them on 27/2/2025.Tikabali police also informed about the recovery and reached the spot along with the father(Kamakhya mohapatra) of the missing girl,after seeing the half burnt chudidar,necklace and mobile phone has identified the skeleton as of his daughter Rinu mohapatra(16).Police said started investigation and assured the victims father to nab the culprits soon.
