Polasara,(Anil Kumar Maharana): On behalf of the National Service Scheme Men and Women units of Polasara Science College in Ganjam district, a group medicine program was organized on August 11 to prevent and create awareness about Filaria, Malaria and Dengue diseases. The program was officially inaugurated by the College Principal Dr. Dilip Kumar Nayak . Polsara Community Health Center Chief Medical Officer Dr. Syed Iqubal Hussain was the chief guest, Community Health Center Officer Puja Parida was the coordinator and Anil Kumar Mallik, a Community Health Center worker, was the guest of honor and created awareness among the students and volunteers about the prevention of Filaria, Malaria and Dengue. The program was coordinated by Shek Farid, Program Officer of the National Service Scheme Men unit. National Service Scheme College Committee Member and lectures Rudra Prasad Goud and Anil Kumar Das attended as guests. At this program, Principal Dr. Dilip Kumar Nayak first encouraged the students and volunteers by administering medicine. Dr. Nayak expressed his opinion that to remain completely free from diseases, one should work hard every day. Many students of +2 and +3 departments participated and administered medicine. Faculty members and non-teaching staff of the college attended the program. Finally, lecturer Lipinath Singh proposed the vote of thanks.
