Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): In Gajapati at Kashinagar & Chandragiri range offices World Elephant Day observed as frequent movement of jumboes in these areas to sensitize local people.
200 students participated at Kashinagar.DFO KNagaraju, ACF Sainsri Das, local Sarpanch, Panchayat Samiti Member,members of Mission Shakti,staff of range office & local villagers also attended.
Held at Chandragiri range competitions organized among 200 students where from various schools participated.They were sensitized on elephant conservation,eclipse human-elephant tussle, restore ecological balance & forest ecosystems.
