Buguda,(Anil Kumar Maharana): The History Department of Buguda People’s College celebrated the welcome ceremony of +3 first year freshers on August 22nd with warmth, joy and a true sense of academic camaraderie. The Principal of the college, Dr. Purushottam Mishra, graced the occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. What made the event special was the inter-disciplinary brotherhood, the enthusiastic participation of faculty members from various departments and the unity among the students. The first year freshers were inspired by their senior second and third year students and assured to accept their good guidance. The students were inspired by the wisdom of their teachers. The dignitaries present on the stage included the Chief Guest Principal Dr. Purushottam Mishra, the Guest of Honour Vice Principal Harikrishna Nayak, IQAC Coordinator Lecturer Sushant Kumar Sahu, IQAC Co-Coordinator Lecturer Atmaprakash Nayak, Lectures of the Department of History Rabindra Nath Polai, Rashmita Kumari Patnayak and Sasmita Samantara and the Keynote Speaker Lecturer Dr. Pradeep Kumar Dash, Head of the Department of History. The event beautifully blended tradition, guidance and unity, which marked the beginning of a promising educational journey for the new students.
