Chatrapur, Chatrapur police has arrested two youths,who imposing themselves as cyber police who cheated cyber victims.Ganjam SP,Subhendu patra said the two imposters has been identified as Mantu Patra(27) of Bartini village under Polasara PS and Pabitra Ku Pradhan(29)of Adapada village under Hinjili PS.They defraud cyber fraud victims by addressing themselves as Cyber Police.One of the victim Swagat mishra of Chatrapur lost Rs 2.74 lakhs from his credit card and lodged a complaint with cyber police.Recently,the two accuseds met Mishra on the disguise of cyber PS staffs on the pretext of investigation.During around a month they extracted Rs 1.64 lakhs from Mishra,who with a hope to get back the earlier cheated amount of Rs 2.74 lakhs,obliged them.However,the two not only failed to get back the money,also misbehaved with Mishra.Suspecting some foul play,Mishra lodged a complaint with police on yesterday.Today,the two were nabbed and forwarded to court said the SP.
