Paralakhemundi,Traffic between Paralakhemundi to Gunupur disrupted for several hours today,following the road blocade by irate farmers at Hadubhangi chowk.The farmers has alleged that the miller at the chowk has demanded additional 5 kg per paddy sack orelse to deduct Rs 500/-.As the tug of war between the miller and farmers continued,the locals also joined,which resulted in the road blocade.However receiving the information ARCS,Hari hara sethy,ACSO,Snehasini behera with other officials reached the spot and persuaded the farmers to clear the traffic.They also directed the miller not to receive additional paddy from the farmers.
