Chandigarh: Sibadatta Baxi of AASA gets ‘Best Performer’ Puraskar On the concluding day of 31st national adventure festival in the validation ceremony held at Chandigarh on 10th February 2025, Sibadatta Baxi , S/o Sankar Prasad Baksi, Baksi Street, Paralakhemundi, a member of AASA(Association of Adventure and Social Activities) was honoured with ‘ Best Performer’ puraskar in recognition of his outstanding performance in the field of mountaineering and various other adventure sports held in Solang Valley region of Himachal Pradesh . The function was attended by Sri Mahabir Singh, Chief Commissioner, Chandigarh Right to Service Commission as Chief Guest, Sri S.C.Chaudhry IAS(Ret) Former Chief Secretary, Haryana government and President N.A.C(India) as a Guest of honour and other dignitaries. Lt. Gen (Ret) Narayan Mohanty, President of AASA, Advisor Ashok Mohanty secretary, Secretary Everester Ganesh Chandra Jena, Sri Siba Sankar panda(Joint secretary), Bikram Keshari Das (Treasurer), Shakti Ranjan Mohanty (Vice President),Sri Chinmaye Moharana , and other members have congratulated him for the success.
It may be mentioned that 14(7 boys and 7 girls) from AASA Odisha successfully participated in the festival. Sri Sibadatta Baxi of AASA was judged the best performer and was awarded with the trophy and certificate by National Adventure Club ( India ).
