Berhampur: As many 28 persons including 12 injured seriously,when a pick up van overturned at Bankeswari ghat under Digapahandi PL limits today.Sources said to attend the chaitra mela at Bankeswari temple on Kerandimal hill,7 families of Kanddoli village of Sanakhemundi block reached the shrine.After offering prayer to the goddess,they had a feast and while returning today evening,the driver lost his control and the vehicle met with mishap.As the information spreaded Turubudi sarapanch B.Lingaraj dora with local people and fire brigade reached the place.They rescused the passengers and brought to Digapahandi hospital.Later 12 of the injureds were shifted to MKCG MCH.Police investigating into the matter.
