Berhampur: Of late, Ganja mafia engaging ladies of well to do families to transport the narcotic.Two women ganja peddlers with 35 kgs of ganja,were nabbed by excise sleuths at Gopalpur junction in the silk city today.Excise DSP,S.Rout said the two identified as Kabita das(49)and banita rath(40)while were proceeding to railway station with two bags,were intercepted.During search the ganja found said the DSP adding that the two hails from Aska and Digapahandi.The two has confessed that,one person gave them the two sacks at Kodola to handover a person at berhampur railway station to transport to Samalkota in Andhra pradesh.The two has been forwarded to court and search is on to nab the persons indulged in the transportation at Kodola and at Berhamppur rly station said the DSP.
