Puri: Odisha women clinched silver medal in the 57th Senior National Kho-Kho Championship which concluded at Puri on Friday.In a hard-fought final, Odisha lost out to Maharashtra.After being tied 10-10 in the first innings, Maharashtra girls exerted their dominance to tame Odisha 25-21.Odisha girls Magai Majhi and Archana Majhi caught the eye of the home spectators. Magai had a remarkable skydive near the pole to dismiss Maharashtra’s Reshma Rathod, while Archana earned a courageous dream run point, standing her ground after teammates Archana Pradhan and Ananya Pradhan were dismissed.The men’s final also produced a thrilling contest, with Railways defeating defending champions Maharashtra 36-27.
