Paralakhemundi: At Gangabada of Rayagada block of Gajapati district 3 schools have been locked since last 5 days. Teachers maintaining their shifting duties & not quality education assured.So Sarpanch Haribandhu Karjee locked those 3 schools. Later a heated discussion raised in between teachers & guardians.Students unable to know minimum knowledge of arithmetics.So later one teacher assaulted to locals by bringing his 2 friends.Attacked by crowbar one villager injured.Villagers FIR not received,on retrospect teacher’s FIR received at Garabandha Police Station.Moreover BEO TKishore Kumar,ABEO of Rayagada S.Paparao reached Gangabada & discussed with villagers but in vein.Sarpanch Karjee demanded till Odia teachers posted schools will be as usual locked.
Moreso Andhrapradesh border too eyeing to catch Odisha den & more incidents subject to land position.
Let us see what Gajapati district administration is taking as serious view. While interacted with DEO Dr.Mayadhar Sahu, he said locked the school is illegal.They should have made complain before administration.Anyway matter will be placed before Collector to sort out such core issue.
