Bhubaneswar:With the preparation for celebration of one year completion in power by BJP in Odisha,speculation about a cabinet reshuffle in Mohon charan majhi led cabinet is gaining traction.The reshuffle and expansion are expected since a long,as six berths in the cabinet still vacant.Besides,many ministers has been burdened with many departments and reportedly failed to do justice to their respective departments.The reshuffle,expected as many BJP leaders who fought the last election unsuccessfully and some others who could not got ticket.The Mohon Majhi govt is now riddled with the problem,how to fecilitate the the party leader vying for posts.As such,the govt owned corporation chief posts are lying vacant,which inadequate to rehabilitate the party leader and new enterants.Initially all were hopeful to convince the chief minister.But,the tribal CM’s leadership has been marked by decisive actions, which have significantly boosted his public standing.His rise brings broader shift in Odisha’s governance and political dynamics.In the political landscape of Odisha,the recent rise of Mohan Charan Majhi,as the Chief Minister of the state,has surprising the political pundits.With in a short span Majhi`s leadership has almost put the legacy of Naveen Patnaik at stake.Majhi’s growing popularity has not only posed a significant challenge to Patnaik’s sagging political status and reputation, but also set off a shift in the state’s governance and political culture.Political anylyists admits,Majhi’s leadership has been marked by decisive actions, which have significantly boosted his public standing. The political establishment of Odisha has traditionally been dominated by Biju Janata Dal (BJD) under Naveen Patnaik, who held power for over 24 years. However, the growing influence of Majhi and his shifting approach to governance have cast a shadow over Patnaik’s once-untouchable position. The success of the “Utkal Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave,” combined with the rising public support for Majhi, suggests that a new political era may be dawning in the state.Majhi’s identity as a leader from tribal community has resonated with a large section of the population, who see in him a representative of their struggles and aspirations.His ability to tap into this demographic has significantly increased his political capital, creating a strong grassroots base for his leadership.This shift in political allegiance poses a serious challenge to opposition parties in the state and to the would be rebels in the safforn party.Majhi`s action not only disrupted the political establishment of opposition parties,also gave a warning to the party leaders.Initially seen soft,Majhi is now acting tough and not hesitating to put a brake for the party leaders,even in public views,what made them more cautious.Nodoubt,the state chief post for the saffron party is in question,but Majhi visibly stressing on the reshuffle.Inside sources said the reshuffle likely to take place before next 15,wherein atleast four ministers likely to be dropped from the cabinet,for inability in managing the affairs of their respective ministry.However,induction of new members to be cabinet is also on offing.The sources said around 8 districts deprieved from representation in the cabinet.Obviously,they may get share in the reshuffle,but there are strong posibility of a berth in the cabinet for Ganjam.All in the district are well aware,as the plan reportedly got green signal from Delhi.Now while the possible reshuffle increased the heartbeat of the party leaders in Ganjaman and put them in hope and despair ,the ensuing visit of Amit saha would present a clear picture,contended the political anylyists.
