Baliguda:A 63 year old man was killed at Hatapada village under Baliguda PS limits in Kandhamal district.The deceased has been identified as Sankar nayak of Munda street in the village.Sources said late night on yesterday,a hitch took place between deceased Sankar and Nirakar nayak.Soon it turned into a physical tussle as Nirakar fell down he lost his cool and attacked Sankar with a wood plank.Nirakar was so furious that he continued hitting Sankar,even after he remained motionless.Even he dragged the deadbody of Sankar and kept in the village community hall.Today morning some villagers seeing the deadbody of Sankar informed the police.With scientific team police reached the spot and sent the corpse for autopsy.Police also apprehended Nirakar today evening and detained for interrogation.
