Chhatrapur:As many as 30 scooters were charred when a truck carrying them caught fire at Chhatrapur Bypass Road in Ganjam district,today.The incident occurred when the truck, which was on its way from Delhi to Sompeta in Andhra Pradesh, suddenly caught fire near the Ujjaleswari temple area.Two Fire brigade vehicles quickly responded to the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control,but by the time all the scooters were destroyed.Though the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined,it was suspected the short circuit in the truck created fire and engulfed the EVs.
