Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad panda):At Gajapati district headquarter of Paralakhemundi for oldest Patnaik tank renovation tune of 2.11 crores sanctioned.But renovation is yet to be completed,nor quality on construction assured. For such irregularities several times complain drawn from various corners for sizzling enquiry.So by the instruction of SP Vigilance,led by Soumya Panda Inspector three Members team started investigation over fallacy on construction.They annoyed on surrounding parts of the tank,which is yet to cleaned.They instructed to clean immediately that covered with grasses. Neither water filled marked inside tank, rather pungent smell airing to reach at that tank.They retorted on Paralakhemundi Municipality authorities. Executive Officer Laxman Murmu & Sanjib Kumar Champaty requested 7 days time for cleaning.That team, too,made measurements of surroundings.Total 3.365 acres of that tank gradually encroached rather only tank portion remained.For renovation on 2009 state government sanctioned 1,86,5000 & 25 lakhs on various instalments with total 2,11,05000.For bathing places, renovation of tank clearing clay soil, returning wall,concrete block pitching amount sanctioned.But contractor’s carrycreature or callousness turned as garbages.Moreover at the adjacent side 2 temples one Lord Siv & Santoshimaa temple are situated,where on every Monday & Friday along with Maha Sivaratri crowd pulled too.Nearby also Sanskrit College established.So with this pungent area it is difficult for public to go to that tank.So public demanded to recover the amount who made such irregularities on renovation.
