Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): A passenger bus lost control and hit a hill in Gajapati district this afternoon . In this incident, 30 people were injured while 7 of them are seriously injured. According to the incident, a private bus named Vikrant, going from Sambalpur village in Nuagarh block of Gajapati district to Berhampur via R. Udayagiri, lost control and hit a hill near Indira Memorial College at Chandiput in Mohna block. In this, incident almost all the passengers in the bus were slightly injured, while 30 passengers were rescued by the locals and admitted to Chandragiri Hospital. 7 persons of them are seriously injured, arrangements are being made to refer them to Berhampur Hospital. The Mohana police reached the scene of the accident and are continuing the rescue operation for the injured with the help of locals.
