Boudh, COURT VAN HIT TRUCKA cop and a under trial prisoner sustained injuries when the court van on which they boarded hit a truck at Gandhi chowk in Manmunda PS limits of Boudh district today.Sources said the van with over 10UTPs and cops left Boudh jail for Kantamal court.At the spot the court van hit the backside of a truck.As a result of which the front wind shield of the van damaged.Soon all in the van alighted and the locals also reached there.The injured cop and a UTP taken to Manamunda CHC for treatment.However,soon tension erupted,as the locals found the van has no valid insurence and pollution certificate.During verification it was found that the van has no insurence and pollution certificate since 2021.The locals has alleged that when the general public punished for lack of insurence and pollution certificate,how the van operates on the NH without the documents.However,the irate public pacified when manamunda police reached the scene assured of action as per law.
