Berhampur,Chamakhandi police in Ganjam district has foiled a possible robbery and arrested a 33 year old habitual offender today.While patrolling,a motorcyclist Soroj panda, driving speedly was intercepted.During verification,it was found the said MC was stolen on yesterday from the Chamakhandi area.Soroj with others were staying in the area and has confessed his crime.Soon police reached the home,but the inmates managed to gave a slip to police.However,during search police recovered another stolen scooty,besides two swords and one toy gun have been seized from their shelter home.Soroj divulged the identity of his accomplices,those are on the run,said police adding that the arrested and absconders,all are habitual robbers and had planned to commit robbery in Berhampur and its periphery.Soroj has been forwarded to court.
