Buguda, Dutikrishna Patra took charge as the new BDO of Buguda Block in Ganjam district on 17th January from Buguda Tahsildar Tapas Rout, who was additional charge as BDO. Before taking charge here, the new BDO Mr. Patra was working as the Executive Officer of Koraput Municipality. After the transfer of the former BDO of Buguda, Santosh Kumar Jena, Buguda Tahsildar Mr. Rout took additional charge of BDO. As per the notification issued by the Panchayat Raj and Drinking Water Department of Odisha Government on 7/1/25, the new BDO Mr. Patra was transferred as Buguda BDO. The new BDO, Shri Patra, joined Buguda on 17th January and took over the charges from Buguda Tahsildar Shri Raut, who was in charge of the BDO.
