Berhampur, Presence of mind by the staffs of a courrier agency at lanjipalli in the silk city,has made Baidyanathpur PS to foil a narcotic export.Late evening on yesterday,two youths of Mohona area reached the agency to book 3 packets to Delhi.However,when weighed the packets found over 45 kg.Suspecting something foul,the staff asked the youths about the contents.But they denied and insisted to book them and assured him to pay some extra money.The staff,went inside from the counter and informed police control room.Soon Addl SP Sima swain with police arrived there and opened the packets packed with ganja.The two youths identified as Sumanta Badaraita(22) and Abhijeet Sabar(18),of Mohona area in Gajapati district were taken into police costody.The police also seized two mobile phones,besides the three packets containing contraband ganja weighing about 45.520 Kg.Police registered a case and entrusted the investigation to Sub-inspector,Kajal bag.The two youths has been forwarded to court today.Investigation is on to ascertain the place of procurement of Ganja and involvement of other accused persons in the illigal smuggling,said SP,Dr Saravana Vivek M.
