Chikiti:A 54 year old man,grazing goats had escaped from lightning strike,but his 7 goats perished at Madhabandh village in Chikiti block of Ganjam district today.Sources said the man,S.Sakili of the village was at the village pond with his ten goasts.Suddenly lightning struck there.While 7 goats died at the spot rest three injured.Since Sakili is very poor and managing the affairs of his family with the goats,the locals has urged the administration for financial assistance to the family.
