Parlakhemundi, (Tarini Prasad Panda): An awareness camp on National Pension Scheme was organized in the premises of District Treasury Office at Parlakhemundi, Gajapati district. In this camp, detailed discussions were held among the state government employees to create awareness and solve problems related to National Pension Scheme. On this occasion, Mr. Minorand Sahu, Accounts Officer, Arvind Sahu, Accounts Officer from Directorate of Treasury and Inspection, Odisha, Bhubaneswar were present and discussed various practical issues related to NPS. They gave clear explanations on National Pension Scheme account opening, deposit of shares, correction process, grievance redressal and other important issues.
Ms. Sangita Kumari, District Treasury Officer, Priyavrat Sadangi, Additional Treasury Officer, District Sub-Treasury Officers, Drawing and Distribution Officers (DDO) of various departments, National Pension Scheme subscribers along with District Treasury and Sub-Treasury employees were present in the camp. While the participants presented their problems, the resource persons provided appropriate guidance on their solutions. At the end of the camp, it was felt that such awareness program was very beneficial for the employees under National Pension Scheme.
