Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): Rayagada police seized 54.15 litres of foreign liquor (FL) of different brands from the possession of a man and registered a case under the Odisha Excise Act.
According to police, a case was registered at Rayagada Police Station as Case No. 86 dated August 10, 2026, under Section 52(a) of the Odisha Excise Act. The seized liquor, totalling 54 litres and 150 ml, was allegedly recovered from the possession of Iswar Chandra Karjee, son of Laban Karjee of S. Guda village under Rayagada police limits in Gajapati district.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
