Berhampur: Soon Ganjam district will have two major road projects said Law and excise minister Prithiraj harichandan,today.The minister who was on a one day visit to Ganjam has reviewed different ongoing projects at chhatrapur.He said a marine drive from Sunapur via Gopalpur to Rushikulya mouth,a stretch of around 37 km will come up in Ganjam district,which will play a pivital role in boosting the tourism sector.He said the project would take shape within next two months.Similarly the proposed grand dream road,aimed to connect Berhampur with jeypur with a high speed road,which will cover 3.5 hours insted of 8 hours journey.Soon foundation stone would be laid for the high speed road,which will enhence the economic condition in the area.The proposed road not only boost the transport facility,will also connect Jeypur,Koraput with Gopalpur port via Berhampur.Earlier,while reviewing the projects,asked the officials to take the advise of MLAs of concerned area to excute the projects.He also asked the officials to initiate measures to make the defunct tubewells operative,besides to keep more tanker to supply water to people at the time of need.He exhorted the officials to coordinate with the elected representatives,inorder to yeild the expected result of the govt schemes.The minister who is also the pravari for ganjam district announced to review of the project in next June.
