Paralakhemundi:Parmeshwar Funkwal, General Manager of East Coast Railway (ECoR), conducted a thorough inspection of key railway facilities along the Naupada-Gunupur section, accompanied by Divisional Railway Manager Shri Lalit Bohra, Principal Heads of Departments of ECoR, and senior officials from the division. The visit also focused on safety inspection of various railway facilities.The inspection began at Paralakhemundi railway station, where Shri Parmeshwar Funkwal assessed the station’s amenities, including waiting halls, toilets, water booths, seating arrangements, railway offices, 12-meter foot overbridge etc which are being developed under Amrit Bharat Station works. During an interaction with the media, he discussed ongoing developmental activities, infrastructure improvements, upcoming modifications, and future plans, while also gathering feedback on local expectations.Following this, the General Manager proceeded to Gunupur railway station, where he reviewed various developmental projects and shared details with the various stakeholders about ongoing and future infrastructure developments at the station.GM Funkwal’s inspection aimed to monitor the progress of ongoing projects and enhance infrastructure to increase sectional speed and capacity. This includes the provision of crossing stations to improve overall operational efficiency on the Naupada-Gunupur section.
