Berhampur: Golanthra police in Berhampur has nabbed two persons persons indulged in theft of defunct parked vehicle.Today morning while patrolling,police got a tip off that a group with a pickup van were present on Rangipur road in a suspectious situation.Soon police proceeded to the spot,but seeing the police vehile,the group drove away the pickup van what made the police more suspecious.After chasing for around 1 km,police intercepted the van with two persons on board.During verification,the van found loaded with iron plate pieces,said Berhampur SP,Dr Saravana Vivek M.The two identified as Rabi Behera @ Vicky(27)and Rabi Muli(40),both of Old Berhampur,confessed that they dismantled a unclaimed container lying by the side road in a secluded place near Rangipur.They cut parts of the container using gas cutter and loaded in the van.Police arrested two besides seized the van loaded with iron cut parts of containers,Two numbers of cylinders and other cutting materials.Police suspects,some others might be involved in the crime and continued further investigation.The two has been forwarded to court said the SP.
