Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda):Several persons sustained injuries and a cow crushed to death when a truck skidded off the Gobindapur ghat under Mohona PS limits.Sources said the truck left Mohona in Gajapati district for Badagada in Ganjam.But on the way near Shantinagar,the driver lost his control over the vehicle at the ghat and slipped to a ditch at 30 feet.Hearing the crashing sound the locals and police reached the spot rescued the driver and other passengers on board of the truck.The injureds were treated at nearby hospital and police investigation is on.
