Boudh:A man and his minor daughter were killed and four others injured in a road accident late night on yesterday at Didangapadar village under Model Police Station in Boudh district.The deceased have been identified as Gajendra Mallick(36) and his daughter, Lipsa Mallick(7).The injured are currently undergoing treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Boudh.Sources said,while Gajendra of Chariapalli village was proceeding to Gochapada on his bike,with his wife and daughter,a bike with triple rider from opposite side,collided head-on.As a result of which,all the six riders of three bikes injured seriously.The locals brought all the injureds to DHH,wherein trhe father and daughter duo declared brought dead.The collusion was so severe that,two motor cycles threw to nearby farmland at over 20 feet distance.On being informed,a team from the Model Police Station reached the spot and launched an investigation into the matter.The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. Meanwhile,Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the next of kin of the deceased. He also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the mishap.
