Dharakote:Hardly couple of hours of the Sabitri puja,wherein woman observe fast wishing wellbeing of her husband,in a shocking incident,a woman allegedly hacked her husband to death for family feud in Ganjam district.The shocking crime took place in Gopalpur village under Talsara panchayat within Beguniapada PS limits.The deceased was identified as Narayan Bhuiyan(40) and the accused his wife, Reena Bhuiyan(35).Sources said,Narayan of Biribatia village married to Reena of Gopalpur and the couple have a 16 year old daughter and a 12 year old son.However,since past some years a dispute between them arised,as Narayana allegedly suspected the charecter of Reena.Since than Reena was staying in a house in Gopalpur and Narayana was staying with his son and mother Nisha Bhuyan(59)in another house.Late night on yesterday,Narayana reached he house of Reena,when others were asleep and asked something.As Reena replied roughly,a hitch took between them,which turned into a physical tussle.During which Narayana fell down and Reena in a fit of anger hit his head with a brick,resulted profuse bleeding.In a bid to stop the bleeding Reena dragged Narayana inside her house,but Narayana took the axe in the house and tried to attack Reena.The act made Reena mad and soon she snatched the axe and attacked Narayana.She was so furious that,even after Narayana fell unconscious with profuse bleeding,she hit Narayana`s head with a brick repeatedly,till the death of Narayana.The incident took place so swiftly,that no one,even their son,daughter and mother were unaware about the incident.As Narayana didnot returned home,his mother Nisha at wee hours today reached the home of Reena and found she was sitting by the side of Narayana`s body in a pool of blood.Soon she raised an alram and also reported the matter to police.On being informed IIC,Bhagaban pujari with scientific team reached the spot and started investigation.Police arrested Reena and sent the body of Narayana for autops.Though the exact reason of the killing not yet known,but suspected to be a case of family dispute,said police.Another villager has been taken to PS for questioning said the IIC adding we are probing from all angles.
