Paralakhemundi:Mohona police in Gajapati district has arrested a 60 year old man on the charge of sexual assult on a minor girl.Sources said,the man identified as Laxmana nayak of Naringa village was in Khariguda village to attend a social feast at Raiguda village on yesterday.While returning,he visited the house of a relative in the village.By the time the family were out fo their house and the minor girl was present.Since the man happens to be a uncle,the girl allowed the man into her house.However finding her alone,Laxman allegedly assulted her sexually and returned to Naringa.Later when teh family returned the victim minoor narrated her ordeal.Today,the family brought the victim to Mohona hospital for treatment and also lodged a complaint with police.Soon the police started a search and apprehended Laxamana and detained him at the police station.As no lady doctor is at the Mohona hospital,police sent her to MKCGMCH for medical examination said the IIC,B.K.Sethy adding that Laxmana is being interrogated.
