Berhampur,(YNS):Waltair Division of East Coast Railway is continuing the nationwide campaign to promote the Digital Life Certificate (DLC), Jeevan Pramaan. The campaign organized at Vizianagaram by Assistant Personnel Officer Shri D. V. Appa Rao. A subsequent camp was conducted at Srikakulam by Shri BVS Murty, Assistant Divisional Engineer, Srikakulam.
This government initiative simplifies the process of life certification for pensioners. DLC, also known as Jeevan Pramaan, aims to make pension services more accessible and efficient for retired central government employees. The program modified with face authentication technology, biometric devices, mobile applications, and doorstep services to verify life certificates without the need for in-person visits or paperwork.
The campaign organized annually, this is the 4th edition being conducted from November 1–30, 2025. It is being carried out across the Division in collaboration with Pension Disbursing Banks and Pensioners’ Welfare Associations. The objective is to ensure every pensioner, regardless of location or mobility constraints, can submit their life certificate easily and securely
