Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad panda): Ranipentha,at the outskirts of Gajapati district headquarter;one auto driver named Karnam Sinhmadri(43), went outside after locking his home.His wife working in nearest Cambridge School also gone.Their children,too, went to school.At 2.30pm while returned he found door lock broken & saw those thieves,who were stealing ornaments & he immediately roared.No sooner villagers got together & ultimately police came after information.Those goons nabbed before villagers.Immediately staff of Paralakhemundi Model Police Station reached at spot.They are Mangalam Chanti(27)of Sanjay Gandhi Colony & NNagaraju(31) of Dolatank road.Both belong to Paralakhemundi.From them police seized 3 tola gold,10 tola chandi & cash 20000.Case (368),dated 20-11-2025; under sections 331(3)& 305/3(5)registered & forwarded to Court.Total cost of ornaments with cash would have ₹4,70,000.Earlier Mangalam Chanti had 8 cases on theft.
