Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad panda):A horrific event that perished revenue of Odisha.Such incident marked as dark day on transparency & accountability on accounts procedure.In Gajapati district One retired teacher manipulated twice pension since 2010.Even government audit not marked rather authorities hoodwinked such hooliganism.On 30th September 2010 one headmaster of Betarsing Project UPSchool of Mohana block of Gajapati district,named Radhakrushna Acharya got retirement. Accordingly as per letter no 311,dated 14-02-2011 his pension approved by the then BDO Mohana. But surprisingly again as per letter of BDO of Mohana block he had been sanctioned second pension as per letter no 941,dated 12-04-2012. That teacher is at ease to swallow both pensions.Later that matter sought at State Treasury circle.With their letter no 12131,dated 20-11-2025 for enquiry reached to BDO & BEO Mohana.So how such irregularities caused this still surprised.While interacted to that teacher he said that he too ignored, rather he will cancel one pension. Where teachers post lying vacant, teachers regular too delaying such malafide on government revenue seemed lackluster on transparency. So severe action should be taken who made such follies, saying intellectuals.
