GOVERNOR UNVEILS TELUGU EDITION OF JEEVANA SANGRAM

Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Saturday unveiled the Telugu translation of Jeevana Sangram, translated by Paralakhemundi-based translator B. Komalangi, at a function held at Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar.
The book, featuring 18 selected short stories by Sangram Mahapatra, Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Southern Division), has been translated from Odia into Telugu to introduce the richness of Odia literature to Telugu-speaking readers.
Speaking on the occasion, literary circles expressed hope that the translation would strengthen cultural and literary ties between the Odia and Telugu-speaking communities. Author Sangram Mahapatra was present during the book release.
Literary figure Purnachandra Mahapatra (Upanta Prahari) announced that a literary discussion involving writers and readers of both languages will be organised in the coming days to promote greater literary exchange.
