Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Pay): At Gajapati & Kandhamala districts by eating forest mushroom villagers are serious,which is a regular news.Recently at Badakhani village of Mohana block of Gajapati district 6 persons are serious on eating forest mushrooms.They are Sati Mallick(65),Bishal Mallick(26),Para Mallick(65),Sunaram Mallick(36),Babula Mallick(35),Badi Mallick(56).After primary treatment all referred to Brahmapur.
As per information on Friday they brought those mushroom from nearest forest & cooked. After eating all are serious.At 8pm they were admitted at Mohana CHC by family members.
Such incidents happening on regular basis.Few days back in anganwadi centre too such incident occurred by eating mixed ‘chatua’ where 2 babies died at Ramgiri.On 20th January too at Bariabandha camp,while eating cooked root 20 laborers (who engaged on Chandragiri-Antaraba road)were serious. Similarly at Kandhamala district of Daringbadi block of Gadapur panchayat in Mandipanka village,while eating mango ingredients 6 persons were serious & among them 3 died.So need to sensitize & local anganwadi workers & ANMs must sensitize where need of assistance from district administration of both districts to intervene is important,what intellects saying.
